Self portraits by Miranda July Brief Intended to look more closely at details that may fall unnoticed in the fast drawing method – detailed areas like faces, hands, feet. Sometimes this is better learnt making larger drawings while closer to a model (not possible in life drawing) – suggest making self-portraits in a mirror as a good way to improve in this area.   Brief Today we will specifically focus on mark making and how being aware of the marks we make can be an invaluable way to improve not only our drawing but also our picture making skills through the subject of still life.
