Life Drawing 01 – Kingston 2020/21
The Basics LD01.1
Develop your drawing skills in a range of ways exploring multiple techniques. Learn about how to control the way you see and think to enable you to reach you’re full potential with drawing and design. The more classes you can attend the better as they are designed to work together and compliment each other as well as supplement your own practice and learning.
The Life drawing classes will not only improve your observational drawing but also your skills with design, composition, scale, colour and light as well as contextual art historical knowledge and professional practice all of which can feed in to your studio practice.
Brief
An introductory class for those that have not had a lot of experience with life drawing in the past or the particular methods of life drawing used at Kingston School of Art.
We will start from a basic level but the class is still useful for all levels of ability.
Using various techniques we look at how to increase your confidence with drawing helping you to improve key areas of your work including: observation, mark making, composition, scale, design and colour.
