Life Drawing 06 - Volume
Brief. 19/21
VOLUME
Today we are looking at volume and form in drawings. We will try to look at the way we thinking about the three dimensional objects we look at while drawing. We will stat with some warm up exercises looking at volume.
The class is useful for all levels of ability.
If you wish you can explore something from a previous class or follow instruction - up to you :)
Required materials and tools
Drawing materials, charcoal, graphite, ink, pastels – anything else you might want to try.
WEDNESDAY DEMO –
Today you will also be provided with a chunk of clay to experiment with - you can try to make some sketches from the model in three dimensions and we will see if this leads to you thinking about your drawing in different ways.
