Life Drawing 05 - Back to Basics
Brief
A welcome back after the reading week and a return to drawing from the figure.
We will return to the very basics of life drawing with a focus on mark making and observation.
For those of you in the first year this will follow on from what life drawing you might have done with Martin Morris, for second and third years this is a recap and a refresher and will be just as much use as the first time and will keep pushing your skills.
The class is useful for all levels of ability.
If you wish you can explore something from a previous class or follow instruction - up to you :)
Required materials and tools
Drawing materials, charcoal, graphite, ink, pastels – anything else you might want to try.

WEDNESDAY PAINTING DEMO –
Today I will bring in some analogue movie film for you to have a look at. Some of you may have seen this before but its always interesting to see - I might show some experimental films in the back ground that were made by scratch and painting on to the film itself - this is not strictly painting but the films are like moving paintings more often than not.
